V. How to write a persuasive essay
In the body of a persuasive essay, the writer should present their evidence clearly and systematically. Each body paragraph should flow logically into the next, presenting evidence in such a manner that the reader can easily understand the argument as it unfolds. In a persuasive essay, the writer intends to persuade the reader to adopt a position, so evidence should be carefully selected and presented to the reader in order to convince them of the writer’s thesis.
